# phloem import

Import a recording file through its connector, attached to a named asset

```
phloem import [OPTIONS] --asset <ASSET> <FILE>
```

- `<FILE>`
- `--asset <ASSET>` — The asset the recording is ABOUT (id or exact name) — required, never minted from the file
- `--driver <DRIVER>` — The extension that reads this file (else chosen by extension when exactly one claims it)
- `--name <NAME>` — The input's name (default: the file's stem)
- `--set <KEY=VALUE>` — Extra connector params, `key=value`, repeatable
- `--wait <WAIT>` — How long to wait for the connector to declare channels before attaching [default: 10s]
