# Your first input

# Your first input

Pick what you have and get one input running. Everything starts on **Inputs**.

## First launch

1. Sign in with **Continue in browser**, or choose **Use this computer locally**
   to work without an account. You can sign in later — see
   [Connect a computer to your workspace](https://phloem.ai/docs/guides/connect-a-computer/).
2. On the welcome screen, choose **New project**. Everything you set up is
   saved in it — see [Projects](https://phloem.ai/docs/workspace/projects/).

## I have a recording

Add an input of type `csv` or `jsonl` and give it a path. For MCAP, a ROS 2
bag, a CAN log, NI TDMS or a PX4 log, first install its connector from
**Connectors**.

## I have a device or a stream

Built in: a **Camera** or **Microphone** on this device, or an **MJPEG camera**
URL. For a vehicle, robot, CAN bus, PLC or DAQ, install its connector from
**Connectors**.

Add a **Push endpoint** input, then POST readings to this device from any
language.
