AI usage and limits
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits for Hamming on Phloem managed models.
| Plan | AI credits a month |
|---|---|
| Starter | 200 |
| Enterprise | unlimited — and your own AI provider, billed to you |
A credit is a fixed amount of model work, counted in tokens, not dollars. A price change never changes your count.
| One credit is | |
|---|---|
| input tokens | 10,000 |
| tokens read from the cache | 100,000 |
| output tokens | 2,500 |
Credits reset on the 1st of each calendar month, UTC.
When they run out
New messages to Hamming are refused with a reason: credits used this month and the reset date. In Slack and Teams, that is the reply in the thread. Everything else — Live data, Replay, recording and export — keeps working. To raise the limit, contact Phloem.
Where usage shows
In your Phloem account:
| Page | Shows |
|---|---|
| Plan & usage | This month: AI credits used of the limit, beside Devices and Cloud storage, and when credits reset |
| AI › Usage | a Period (Today, This month, Last month): Credits this month, Total tokens, Model calls, Input tokens, Output tokens; Usage by model; Tokens per day |
Near the limit, credits used also show under Plan & usage in the sidebar on every page.
Until your data plane first reports, usage shows — with the reason, not 0. A real 0 means it reported and nothing was used.
