Integration
Notion
Notion workspace — live search over pages shared with the integration

- Runs in
- The Phloem cloud — nothing to install
Lets Hamming search your Notion pages live, so it can find and quote the spec, procedure or note that answers a question.
What Phloem reads
- Pages shared with your integration — searched live with Notion's own search. Nothing is copied ahead of time.
- The opening text of the top five results, so Hamming can judge which page answers
Read-only.
What you need
- A Notion internal integration and its token (
ntn_…orsecret_…). Create it at notion.so/my-integrations. - The pages and databases you want searchable, shared with that integration. Phloem cannot see pages that aren't shared with it.
Connect
- In the console, open Connectors, choose Add connector, then Notion.
- Paste the Integration Token.
- Save. The test checks the token and names the integration.
What Hamming can do
- Search documents — search shared pages and return titles, links and snippets
Notes
- A search returns at most 20 pages.
- Notion's search matches titles well and page text loosely. Searching for the page's title works best.
- A snippet is the page's opening text, up to about 1,500 characters.
